GRUDGE MASTERS – 20/21 AUGUST 2021

Grudge Masters will feature the fastest cars in the north, including several cars  not seen before at Springmount Raceway, racing “heads-up” using a pro tree (meaning no dial-ins to even things out and no amber lights counting down to the green on the tree) making this is an exciting and unforgiving style of racing!  In addition to the grudge-style feature racing, the usual dial-your-own classes will be offered for both cars and bikes, with the winner of Street and Super Street to run off for the title of “Street King”, the winner of Street Bike and Comp Bike to run off for the title of “Bike King”, the winner of Junior Dragster to be crowned “Junior King” and the winner of Comp and Super Comp to run off for the title of “Comp King”.  A Test & Tune / Race Ya Mate bracket will also be run.

For spectators, we have shaded viewing areas, food and a bar and camping is available. Come along and take in the sights and sounds of the region’s fastest cars and bikes giving it all they’ve got down the quarter mile.  See below for details on prices, times, etc.

Times

Gates open 2pm – 9pm Friday and 9am Saturday
Scrutineering from 3pm – 5:30pm Friday and 9am – 12pm Saturday
Driver’s briefing 5:45pm Friday and 12:30pm Saturday
Racing from 6pm – 9pm Friday and 1pm – 9pm Saturday

Prices

Competitor (Test & Tune / Race Ya Mate) – $100 for Saturday-only or $150 for Friday & Saturday
Competitor (Dial-Your Own competition) – $130 for Saturday-only or $180 for Friday & Saturday
Competitor (Junior Dragster) – $70 for Saturday-only or $100 for Friday & Saturday
Note – a late fee of $30 applies to nominations after midnight on the Wednesday night before the event.
Pit Crew – $15 for Saturday-only or $25 for Friday and Saturday (includes camping, limits apply as per Track Championship Series)
Spectator – Adult = $25 for Saturday-only or $35 for Friday & Saturday, Child (5-15) = $15 for Saturday-only or $20 for Friday & Saturday, Family (2A + 2C) = $65 for Saturday-only or $90 for Friday & Saturday (free for children under 5)
Camping – $10 per night per person.  Free for competitors, pit crew and children under 5.
Spectator, camping and pit crew passes are to be purchased on the gate.

Comp King – $1,000

General Information

Camping available Friday and Saturday night.  Friday night gate access is available from 2pm – 9pm only!  Arrivals outside these hours will be required to camp in the external camp grounds.
Bar and food available.
BYO alcohol allowed in camping area only (not in licensed viewing areas).  No consumption of alcohol in pit area during racing hours.
