We have finished putting together the calendar for 2017 so please see below for event dates.
In 2017 we will be running a 5-round track championship for all race brackets. Details regarding the format of events and the championship will be provided in the new year.
At this stage, events will generally be run during the day on Saturday, however we are currently investigating permanent lighting so this may see a shift to Saturday afternoon/evening events, and possibly Friday night testing. Further details will be provided on this in the new year.
Test & Tune / Race Ya Mates events are fairly self-explanatory. These events will provide the opportunity for testing of any vehicles, as well as a fun and informal environment to line up against your mates for some heads-up grudge racing.
A burnout test session is to be included on 1 April as a warm-up for Northern Nats. Next years Northern Nats will include a ‘Modified’ class for non-professional burnout competitors with the aim of attracting more casual competitors and beginners, so this will be a great opportunity to get some practice on the big Springmount pad.
At this stage we will not be running a 400 Thunder round, however this could still change and it could be incorporated with the Round 4 or 5 Track Championships.
All in all we are looking forward to a big year in 2017 and can’t wait!
