Tropical Meltdown 2021

Tropical Meltdown, the north’s only qualifying event for the Summernats Burnout Masters, returns on August 7!

In addition to burnouts, the event will see lots of cruising time, a show & shine, swap meet and go to whoa.

Please note the following event details:

Schedule (times may be subject to change)

Friday:
Gates open to entrants and campers only from 3pm

Saturday:
Gates open 7am
Scrutineering from 8am – 10am
Cruising from 10am (runs all day in between burnout heats)
Burnouts Heat 1 at 1pm & Heat 2 at 4pm
Go to Whoa at 3pm
Burnout finals at 7pm
Show and Shine and Swap Meet all day

Prices

Competitor:
Burnout entry – $200* (includes Burnouts, Cruise Route, Show & Shine / Swap Meet and Go to Whoa) – camping included
Double Burnout entry – $250* (includes Burnouts (2 x classes), Cruise Route, Show & Shine / Swap Meet and Go to Whoa) – camping included
*Note – a late fee of $50 applies to entries after midnight on Monday 2 August.
Basic entry – $100 (includes Cruise Route, Show & Shine / Swap Meet and Go to Whoa) – camping included
Show & Shine / Swap Meet only – $50 (camping not included)
Passengers – $20
Spectator:
Adult = $35, Child 5-15yrs = $20, Child under 5yrs = free, Family (2A + 2C) = $90
Camping – Adult = $30, Child = $15 (flat fee for one or both nights), Family (2A + 2C) = $75
VIP seating upgrade = $30 per person
Note – spectator and camping passes can be purchased on the gate.
